An altered state of mind...

During campus times i somehow develop this mid-afternoon tiredness which can only be cured by sleep, or if deadlines are imminent, by a nice strong cup of black coffee (I need to start a "normal" sleeping pattern :P). When i reached home yesterday, the usual drowsiness was replaced by a TOTAL state of utter wobbly-walking, eye-closing, speech-stuttering dazi-ness...decided to skip the usual shovelling of food and crash land onto my neatly made bed (Strange, my bed appeared a lot more messy in the morning - Thanks mom ! :)...

3 hours later, my eyes open to screams from my sister...she wants a cellfone charger - mxit addict...i mumble some nonsense about it being lost...but somethings different, my mumble sounds nothing like my voice :-O...Am I having an out-of-body experience? Am i stuck in someone else's body?...It feels like me, but why do i sound like a trumpet-twisted, carrot-up-the-ass elephant ? … urgh … Once awake I realize that I’ve just been hit with a nasty Headache-Runny Nose-Fever combo…and this aint no dumb-ass commoner flu…this is the DUDE himself…the Granddaddy…seems like it anyway…

Two Stilpayne’s and one Merckfed later I feel immensely drowsy, yet sleep seems to constantly evade me…my motor skills seem to be severely limited, up to a point where I can just move my arms…Oh and I can blink too...feels cool in a disturbing kinda way. While caught up in all this “anti-activity”, my mom tells me she’s going to my aunt’s place – suddenly I get this surge of energy – maybe it was the thought of going out or maybe…well, we got to the car and I insisted on driving (had my mom known my condition, she would’ve FrEaKeD OuT)…I kept on telling myself : Mind over matter dude. Have you heard of the lady who sole-handedly lifted a truck to save her child ? Is it possible to totally overcome the physical effects of a chemical compound dissolved and dispersed into your blood stream ??? I was about to find out…

The drive seemed immensely long – felt like I was driving to the moon. Now lets put things into perspective : My aunt stays about 500m away…ermm yeah…and I was constantly being scolded for flying over speedbumps or driving too slow :/

The last thing I remember was getting home and logging on to mxit…Next morning I woke up with a nasty headache, to find my fone on the floor about 2m away from my bed…with a dead battery…:)
