Would you be my...

So it's Valentine's day...an excuse to flood a certain someone with infinite amounts of "love" in the form of teddy bear's, roses, flowers and a general predominant presence of red-coloured items...so, in my ever-venturing quest to understand how all things work (including soceity), i thought about how the colour red represents, if anything, love...instantaneously, i am hounded with thoughts of blood...(thought to self : i've watched Hostel once too often :P)...However, it somehow seems justified since blood does represent life. Essentially, without blood there is no life and to every single being, life without some form of love isnt life at all...therefore love represents a part of life and thus by this relation, love is life and if red is associated with blood and life then by logical deduction red approximates love quite accurately...my simple reasoning

Now, Google says that it all has to do with 'Colour Psychology'..."The most emotionally intense color, red stimulates a faster heartbeat and breathing. It is also the color of love. Red clothing gets noticed and makes the wearer appear heavier."

So what counts is not necessarily the colour itself, but the effect that very colour produces...Hmmm, interesting...:)
